I want to write more here - no really, stop snickering, I mean it - or rather, I *need* to write more, cause I miss the larger canvas that Blogger offers compared to, say, other places online where people got to be seen and heard, and see, for the longest time I think was AWOL here cause I was spending so much time on those other services, but after a while it got tired, and you know, it's fine to point the finger at others for posting all the textual blips and farts that constitute the average FaceSpace, and anyways, I've posted my share of such things, too, but I always feel like something's missing, and it's hard to put my finger on just what it is, but WTH, does no one have the time to be bothered with writing out a proper meme anymore, I mean, for real, when I was a lad back in the thirties we might have been using kerosene-powered 'puters, but at least we knew better than to post little blips of useless information like 'Muzzy is standing in the breadline,' and 'Mrs Muzzy is planting a Victory Garden,' and 'Kilroy Was Here,' but actually, maybe I'm onto something, cause the way I see it, FaceSpace - and its meth-fueled cousin Twitter - is just graffiti for the electronic post-modern age, and yes, I'm serious, cause think about it: kids used to have to climb over the edge of a bridge to spray-tag some pointless bit of nonsense for the amusement of the next day's commuters, but now they don't need to do that, they can just post it online, but hey, I didn't intend to post yet another Online Social Networking bashing treatise, and I'll try to stay away from all that, I promise, but the fact remains, I do intend to write more, and on that note, I'm off to sleep.
